  • Paramount Apparel International, Inc. is America’s largest headwear manufacturer and is a full-service premium and promotional products company, specializing in screen-printing and embroidering. When a supplier in China was behind on production, Paramount Apparel needed to expedite delivery to the U.S. and Canada in order to meet the ongoing needs of one of their own largest customers.

  • The world’s largest designer and retailer of maternity apparel located in the U.S. imports products from all parts of the world then sells online and in retail stores located in both the U.S. and Canada. The customer was interested in U.S. Customs duty drawback services to recoup the high duties associated with multiple international product moves through customs.

  • As one the largest diamond mining groups in the world, producing and marketing by value over 40% of the world’s gem diamonds, this customer has a worldwide network of both owned stores and franchises. Goods are crafted in France, Italy, U.K. and Switzerland and this high-end jewelry regularly moves around the globe. The customer was interested in U.S. Customs duty drawback services to recoup the high duties associated with multiple international product moves through customs.

  • Although this client is a very large apparel importer with a large production staff they only have two people in their Customs Compliance department.   • PetSafe® is a rapidly expanding manufacturer of pet products, specializing in safety and training solutions. The company introduced the first do-it-yourself electronic fence to the pet market in 1991 and the first wireless fence in 1998. Because they were expanding too quickly to keep up with their own requirements for warehousing and distribution,  PetSafe needed the help of a logistics partner with capacity and flexibility.

  • SOMS Technologies is a start-up company with a patented and innovative vehicle engine oil filtration technology called microGreen® extended performance oil filter. The filter is a new and unique offering that reduces the impact on the environment caused by automobiles.  Being a new and unique product, this customer needed help in setting up the importation as well as air, ocean, warehousing and distribution services.  They turned to OHL for an end-to-end solution.
